British Museum

Here's the most famous museum in the world,British museum.
It's located in London City and all the people who visit London see there.
Everyday,the museum is crowded by people who come here from many countries.
So,let's see inside.

The museum is too big that we can't see every displayed thing even if we stay here whole day.
Of cause, I couldn't see everything inside,I will introduce some of the most things.

 this is the very famous view of the museum

You can see this view in a lot of guidebooks of British museum.
This view can be seen from the second floor.(In Europe, they count the floor ground,first,second
so you have to go up two stairs to get to the second floor.) Here is a chess board.
This is a picture of an ancient chess board made in north Europe.
It seems to be a common chess board,but this has a important meanings.
In fact, this board is the model of the one used in the movie"Harry Potter".

Next is a mummy.

This is a boy's mummy who is called "Ginger".
In UK,some people have red color heir.
We don't call that kind of heir "red heir",but "ginger heir".
'Cause he has ginger heir, called like that.
British museum has a lot of mummies and he is a part of them.

 The most famous thing in the museum
I suppose almost everyone know this.
This stone is called "Rosetta Stone" the important key of deciphering the ancient letters.
Everyone who visit here had better see this.
